About the Founder
Dr. Tri’Sheena Stokes is the Founder of Breath and Grace, LLC, a women’s ministry leader, author, speaker, wife, mom, healthcare professional, and entrepreneur.
She encourages believers to strengthen their relationship with the Lord through prayer, Bible study, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
She is passionate about supporting women through mentorship and practical guidance as they grow in their walk with the Lord.
Her Journey
From a young age, Tri’Sheena sensed there was something deeper to be found in knowing God. She didn’t yet understand what a personal relationship with Him truly meant, but hearing others pray in a way that sounded like closeness to God stirred something in her. Even as a child, the sound of connection in those prayers told her there had to be more.
Growing up in Catholic school, she often heard classmates pray with a boldness that moved her. They may have simply been repeating what they heard at home or in church, but their words carried a sincerity that awakened a longing in her, a desire to understand that kind of relationship with the Lord.
That longing led her on a journey of seeking Him. She visited different churches, joined small groups, and searched for more of His presence, hoping to discover the intimacy her heart was reaching for.
Everything changed in 2008 when Scripture came alive in a new way. Her walk with the Lord deepened through prayer, Bible study, and the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit. What began as curiosity grew into a life anchored in relationship, obedience, and spiritual growth.
Breath and Grace, LLC was born from that journey, a desire to help women grow in intimacy with the Lord and hear His voice clearly in their everyday lives.
